9 Vastu tips for Kitchen every designer must follow

For every designer, planning a vastu-compliant kitchen is a great way to start. The demand for modular kitchens has increased significantly over the last few years. 1. Kitchen - It must be in the south east part of the home as Agni prevails in the south-east direction. In case, if it’s not possible, the north west direction also works

2. Hob - Arrange the hob in the southeast corner of the kitchens where Agni prevails in a way where it compels the user to face in the east direction while cooking. 3. Cooking appliances - Arrange cooking appliances like Microwave, Oven on the southeast corner or south wall of kitchen

4. Sink & Outlet drains - All the outlet drains for sink should be on the north wall or northeast corner of the kitchen.

5. Sink vs Cooking appliances - As fire & water are opposite elements, the sink & cooking appliances must never be on the same platform / wall.

6. Refrigerator - It must be positioned in the south west corner of the kitchen. If it’s not possible, it can also be placed on the south wall, west wall or north wall of the kitchen

7. Grains Storage - It must always be in the south-west corner of the kitchen. If it’s not possible, It can also be arranged on either the south wall or north wall of the kitchen.

8. Window - They must be placed in the east wall of the kitchen.

9. Door - The entry or exit to the kitchen must be placed on the north wall, east wall or the north east side of the kitchen.
